The physical site of the wildlife center is on 70 acres of native grassland, marsh and hardwood forest. In consideration of the wildlife we do not use pesticides,herbicides or chemical fertilizers on the property.

With such a variety of natural habitat we have the ability to release many avian species on site. We can chose to use the "hack" technique, or slow release of most of the passerines raised at REGI. In alternate years ,some species of hawk's such as Harrier's , Cooper's Hawks and some of the owl species are also hacked here.
